How do I renew ebooks and audiobooks from Libby?

Libby eBooks, audiobooks and video can be renewed three days before a title is set to expire. If the title is on hold for someone else, you will not be able to renew it and the title will be returned automatically.  At that point, you can request the title again.

Can I print from my laptop via WiFi?

The library only offers wireless printing from cell phones. However, you can email your print job to ref@hamptonbayslibrary.org and we will print it for you. You can also log on to a Library desktop computer and print from there.

Does the library provide notary public services?

Yes, we offer notary services.  The fee is $2.00.  Walk-ins are welcome.  However, we strongly encourage calling ahead to ensure that a staff member is available.  For any inquiries or to schedule a notary appointment, please call (631) 728-6241 (Option 3).

Yes! Hampton Bays Public Library offers museum passes and discount tickets to local attractions for adult HBPL cardholders in good standing. We also offer discounted tickets (while supplies last) at the Circulation Desk: Please check the museum’s website for current hours and availability.
